Confirmation is when a person affirms the faith into which they have been baptized and their intention to live the life of a committed Christian.
It is the Bishop who leads this ceremony through the laying on of hands and prayer, requesting the Holy Spirit to help those being confirmed to live in the way of Jesus.
At All Saints’ we offer preparation for children towards the end of Year 6 and into the autumn of Year 7 . Teens and adults are also warmly welcome to be confirmed and separate preparation sessions are held for them.
