If you would like to volunteer your time and talents there are many ways you can do so. We have a range of roles, so no matter what your skill and what time you have available there is something for everyone. Below are just some of the activities you can be involved in. Pastoral team – supports people in the community through a variety of ways. These could include visiting the elderly, those in hospital, running errands or through prayer.
Sidespersons – They work in teams and once a month each team will support the Church Warden at the 11am Sunday Service. Duties include greeting the congregation, giving out service sheets and notices, taking the collection and tiding away at the end of the service.

Sunday school or crèche helper – Sunday school and the creche operate during the 11am service.
Flower team – are responsible for looking after the church flowers on a weekly basis. They also decorate the church for major events and festivals. On request they can also do the church flowers for weddings. See gallery.
Refreshments – Refreshments are made available after 11am Sunday service and on other special occasions. A small group of helpers, work on a rota system to prepare and serve the refreshments then wash up and tidy away afterwards.
Helping with cleaning – teams of helpers take it in turns to clean the church. There are a variety of tasks to do such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and cleaning the brass.
Help keep church grounds tidy – The church does employ a gardener, but there are still jobs to do if you have a spare hour; such as weeding, pruning and clearing the paths so they are safe.
Contribute IT skills – this could be helping with the audio – visuals in church or with Facebook or the website.
