Youth Service

Sing Praise to our Creator

There is going to be a Youth Service on the 7th November at 6:30pm in All Saints Church.
The service is being planned and led by our young Confirmation Group.

The service is for everyone, and ideally for older children and teens who have or who are beginning to ‘ grow out’ of Friday Praise.

Cakes and hopefully toffee apples at the end!

 

Parish Walk 

 On 30th October – weather permitting.

It will start outside church at 1:30pm and return at approximately 3:30pm  for tea and cakes.

All are welcome to join our walk

 

Ladies Social Evening

12th November at 7:30pm

In the Hyndburn Bridge.

Join us for a drink and a chat.

Refreshment rota

 

We would like to return to refreshments after church on Sundays; we are looking for volunteers to form a rota. The more helpers the easier it is for everyone!

The Bible Group has now started back – 11:15 – 12:30 am at the back of church on Wednesdays.

All are most welcome, whether or not you have been part of this Bible Group or any similar before.

This six weeks the focus is on themes related to the environmental crisis.

Attached is the newsletter for the charity that All Saints’ School support and to which we have donated. It is based in East Africa. Why not take a look and see the good work being done there and the problems they face.

Remembrance Day Service

Remembrance Day

In Clayton – muster at the Arthur Wilson Centre 9:30am to set off at 9:40am for a short parade via Church Street. Service in church will be at 10:00am, followed by an act of remembrance at the war memorials at 11:00am.

Harvest Festival October 10th.

There will be – 
9:30am – Family Service at Altham st James,
11:00am –  Family Service at All Saints’
6:30pm – Festal evensong at All Saints
As always, non – perishable food for the foodbank would be greatly appreciated, as would donations for the Bishop’s Harvest Appeal which this year.
