Posada – what is it?

The idea of Posada is a visit of Mary and Joseph  to homes around the parish in the run up to Christmas.

A little set of figures is dropped at your door, you look after them for the night, then drop them with the next family. A lovely way for young children in particular to prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
