Sunday 27th July

There will be a benefice Service at Altham

At 10:00am to mark St James’ Day.

This will replace the usual Sunday services at 9:30am and 11:00am

Next church cleaning session and garden tidy – up

 Saturday 5th July from 9:00am

All welcome to come along and help!

We are all members of the God’s church, so it would be lovely if you  could spend just half hour or so  to help keep the church look nice and clean ; you don’t have to stop the whole time. Please come and help if you can – the more helpers we have the quicker it can be done!

The more the merrier!

Thank you your help will be greatly appreciated

The PCC has decided to trial refreshments BEFORE the 11:00am service, rather than afterwards in the hope that more people will be able to participate.

This will be from 13th July.

Next Sunday there will be cake and fizz after the service!

Claire passes on her great thanks for everyone’s …

“ Unswerving support on my journey to priesthood, and for the recent thoughts, prayers and messages. I have felt that support warmly and gratefully”.

At some time in the future we hope that Claire will return and celebrate Holy Communion with us in our churches

We wish all the Ordinands  well in their new roles and  continue to pray for them.

Got questions about God, the world and you?

The 321 course invites you to see life the way Jesus does. Over the course of 4 sessions, Glen Scrivener presents Jesus’ vision for life through interactive videos that help us better understand God, the world and ourselves.

The course considers God’s Three-ness, the world’s two – ness and your one – ness. Each session begins with a thoughtful question followed by stunning storytelling and compelling commentary.

All welcome to come along and to find out more.
