The Cathedral is hosting a life size replica of the Turin Shroud until 12th April.

They also have their Fabric of Faith vestments exhibition on until 24th April.

Easter, particularly, is a time when all Christians should have the opportunity to make their Communion If you know anyone who can’t be at church and would like home communion please speak to the vicar or one of the pastoral team.

Revd. Toby will be on sabbatical leave through April, starting on Easter Monday. He will return to duties from 2nd May. Any enquiries during this time please contact the church wardens. Thank you

Our Annual Parochial General Meeting

This meeting will take place in church on 31st May  at the 11:00am morning service.

Do come and participate in this meeting – which is help within a thanks giving service for the life of our church.

Please start thinking about whether you might serve on the PCC, ask one of the PCC or church wardens for more information if you are interested.

If you would like to stand for election to serve on the PCC, please ask one of the wardens for a  a nomination form. You must be on the electoral role, an actual communicant, and not disqualified from serving as a trustee. Note that a DBS check will be needed along with some safeguarding training, which can be completed  easily on line.

FAITHfest weekend for the Diocesan Centenary – 11th – 13th September

    • Friday, 11 September – A very special Friday Praise with a visiting Christian illusionist followed by a BBQ.
    • Saturday, 12 September – MORNING “Kick off Breakfast” at The Crown Inn, Whalley Road – speaker Revd Chris Nelson (former curate and until recently chaplain to Preston North End).
    • AFTERNOON Bingo, Bubbles and Bakes at Enfield CC – speaker Michael Angus speaking on how his faith impacts his work leading the Barons’ Court Homeless Project.
    • Sunday, 13 September – All-age celebration service with visiting musicians led by Sue Witts- Speaker Revd John Tranter.  We will also welcome Sarah Smith MP, who will say a few words about how her faith impacts her life and work.

 

This Social Church event will be on

The menu is at the back of church together with a sign up sheet the cost is £30 for a three course  meal and it includes a small tip. There will also be one or two table games and a raffle.                            We hope you will be able to join us for what we hope will be an enjoyable evening.

Through the warmer months of the year lunches will be held once a month usually on the fourth Friday in each month and will feature cold food but still a warm welcome!

No charge, but if you are able to give a small donation towards costs that would be greatly appreciated.

At 1:00pm following on from the community lunch on every  fourth Friday in the month, we will have a short informal café style service and a brew.
