Lent Evening Services

 This year’s Lent evenings start 

Thursdays in All Saints’ from 19th February.

God’s Book – a look at the Bible’s 7 toughest topics. We will be exploring some of the knotty issues including suffering, violence, God and science etc. Hopefully these sessions will help us learn to read the bible a bit better. Plenty for everyone and no prior knowledge assumed.  You don’t have to every session, just come if and when you can.

If you know you are coming please sign up at the back of church to give us an idea of numbers.

Lent Sunday evening services.

As last year we will have evening services through Lent.

These will start with a Choral Evensong on Sunday 22nd February at 6:30pm

There will be  some beautiful music and a sermon by  visiting preacher Revd. Paul Hunter from the parish of Oswaldtwistle. Do come and support this service if you can.

Then  on –

Sunday 1st March – Reflective service

Sunday 15th March – Evening Prayer

Sunday 15th March – Holy Communion

Sunday 22nd March – Taize style prayer.
