Prayer for our Church

Almighty God, in this time of vacancy and change for our church, hold us in your loving care.

Send your Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen all those in positions of leadership

Give wisdom to all involved in the discernment and selection of our new vicar.

Prepare the heart and mind of the right person to hear your call and to come among us as pastor and guide.

Unite us as a congregation, waiting patiently and hopefully for the future you are shaping.

Keep us faithful in prayer, generous in spirit,

and confident in your steadfast love.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen
