Community lunch and Purple Praise – 13th June
Next Community lunch is Friday
13th June
11:30am – 1:00pm
Through the warmer months of the year lunches will be held once a month on the fourth Friday in each month and will feature cold food but still a warm welcome!
No charge, but if you are able to give a small donation towards costs that would be greatly appreciated.
Purple Praise
At 1:00pm following on from the community lunch on every fourth Friday in the month, we will have a short informal café style service and a brew.
Brownie helpers needed
Are you interested in becoming a Brownie helper?
Brownies is for girls between 7 – 10 years old. They meet on Wednesdays between 6:30pm and 8:00pm in All Saints’ School. Term time only.
(If we are able to get two or more helpers we will be able to work a rota so you won’t be needed every week.)

Atham Summer Opening
St Jame’s Church will be open on
the third Sundays of each month from 2:00 – 3:00pm, with guided tours at 2:30pm.
Do pop in whether you’d like the full tour or just a wander around, or simply to enjoy the peace and prayerfulness of the place.
The church will also be open on Wednesday lunchtimes EXCEPT during the first week of each month when it will be open on Tuesdays instead.
Ascension Day
This year we will share in a Deanery Eucharist at 7:00pm
on Thursday 29th May
in St Andrew’s Church Accrington.
All welcome.
The preacher will be the Revd. Hugh Scriven of Accrington St. John and Huncoat.
Thy Kingdom Come evening Prayer walk – Thursday 5th June
Prayer Walk
Thy Kingdom Come prayer walk will leave from All Saints’ Church at 7:00pm and will last for about an hour. All welcome – dogs and all!
Annual Parochial Church meeting – report attached
APGM Sunday 18th May
The meeting will take place within the 11:00am Sunday Service.

At the APGM the churchwardens and PCC members will be elected.

Tots’ Praise
7th May from 2:00pm in All Saints’ Church
Tot’s Praise is for the youngest – under 5s together with their parents/carers – gather between 2:00 and 2:15pm, all done in time for school pick up.
