Next Community lunch is Friday

28th June

 11:30am – 1:00pm.

Through the warmer months of the year lunches will be held once a month on the fourth Friday in each month and will feature cold food but still a warm welcome!

No charge, but if you are able to give a small donation towards costs that would be greatly appreciated.

Purple Praise

At 1:00pm following on from the community lunch on every  fourth Friday in the month, we will have a short informal café style service and a brew.

Fantastic  FAITHfest weekend starting on Thursday evening at the Fort’s Arms pub with inspiring talks, great company and food, Friday there was several events for children of different age group. Then Saturday afternoon tea, pamper and talks for over 70 people made for a lovely afternoon. Then finally we ended with our celebration service this morning. Lots of bacon butties and croissants served. Great music before and during the worship. A testimony complete with flour. A moving talk on ultimate love and much more.

Massive thanks again to all involved.

A massive thank you to

the organisation team,

the visiting team,

our home and visiting musicians and

everyone who has supported this week in any way.

May the seeds sown bear fruit in many hearts and may the positive ripples flow on in the life of our parish as we bring ‘the love of God into the heart of the community’.

If you are looking for answers then maybe it is time to make a START.

Thursday 7:30pm

At the back of All Saints’ church

There are six sessions each ‘Start’ session involves video clips, exercises, group discussion and time for reflection.

Each session lasts about an hour and is free to attend.

Even if you can’t make them all, just come along and attend those you can.

All welcome.

Next church cleaning session

 Saturday 22nd June  between 9:00 – 11:00am.

All welcome to come along and help!

We are all members of the God’s church, so it would be lovely if you  could spend just half hour or so  to help make the church look nice and clean; you don’t have to stop the whole time. We generally have the same very few people turning up to help each time, it would be great to see some different faces, please come and help if you can – the more helpers we have the quicker it can be done!

The more the merrier!

Thank you your help will be greatly appreciated

Tots’ Praise

5th May  from 2:00pm

If you haven’t yet ‘sponsored a tile’ at £25 – this is a great way to raise funds to raise funds for the renewal of the north aisle roof of Altham Church.

Forms are available at the back of both churches – you can have your name or that of a loved one written on the tile you sponsor.

Thank you

The Feast of Corpus Christi ( Body of Christ) falls this Thursday 30th May, when the church gives thanks for the mystery of Holy Communion.

We are invited to join our neighbours at

St Mary Magdalene’s for a festive mass

starting at 7:00pm.

There will be a commemorative service

At 11:00am on Thursday 6th June

In Mercer Park

All welcome
