8th February – ‘Come & Sing Evensong’ cancelled
All Saint’s Church is hosting a visit by the National Director of the Royal School of Church Music, Hugh Morris. He will lead a ‘Come and Sing Evensong’ event on the 8th February.
Rehearsal 1:00 – 3:00pm, refreshments then the service at 4:30pm. All singers welcome. Music to include ‘ Magnificat and Nuns Dimittis in B flat’ by Charles Stanford and ‘ O thou the central orb’ by Charles Wood.

In All Saints’ School Hall.
Friday fun, faith and friends – there will be some organised activities / games, plenty of time to ‘chill’ with friends a bit of ‘God talk’ and a good old fashioned tuck shop.
Sunday 6:30pm – Carol Service (No 11am service)
Fourth Sunday of Advent
There will be a Communion Service at 8:00am at All Saints’ but there will be no service at 9:30am at Altham and no 11:00am service at All Saints’.
Altham will also be holding their Carol Service at 4:00pm. The Haslingden Concert Band will be playing music from 3:30pm
This service is live in church, but it will be streamed so if you are unable to attend you can view it online. Now most of the words will also appear when you view the service on line so it will be easier to follow the service.

All welcome to come along and help!
We are all members of the God’s church, so it would be lovely if you could spend just half hour or so to help make the church look nice and clean ready for Christmas ; you don’t have to stop the whole time. Please come and help if you can – the more helpers we have the quicker it can be done!

On Friday 13th December at 6:00pm
we will celebrate our annual Christingle in church.
A beautiful child – friendly service with the highlight – the moment when all the Christingles are lit and shine out in the dark.
There will be a collection for the Children’s Society.

Senior’s Tea
A date for the diary!
Seniors are invited to Al Saints’ School for afternoon tea on Monday 16th December. The school have been hosting this event for the last couple of years and they have been thoroughly enjoyed by both pupils and seniors alike!
Clayton Community Singers
The singers will be performing in church on Tuesday at 7:30pm for the Mothers’ Union, but everyone is welcome to come along and listen to them.
The group have been going for 7 years and have just performed on Thursday at the opening of the History Exhibition in Clayton Community Centre.
Do come along to listen to them.
