Posada
Posada is the tradition of Mary and Joseph main their way around homes in the parish during Advent. They set off fro Tots’ Praise on 4th December and arrive in church at the Crib Service on Christmas Eve.

The usual booklet with bible readings and reflections for each day has been produced and copies are now available at the back of church.

Community lunch and Purple Praise – Friday 29th November
Next Community lunch is Friday

11:30am – 1:00pm.
Through the warmer months of the year lunches will be held once a month on the fourth Friday in each month and will feature cold food but still a warm welcome!
No charge, but if you are able to give a small donation towards costs that would be greatly appreciated.
The final community lunch of the year will be on the 20th December and will include carols
Purple Praise
At 1:00pm following on from the community lunch on every fourth Friday in the month, we will have a short informal café style service and a brew.

An incredible artwork to experience!
You can visit between 5th November – 2nd December daytimes free & without booking, or see it lit up at night ( you will need to book). All details are on the cathedral website.
There are lots of special events taking place. On the evening of 12th November ‘ Lost in Wonder’ will reflect the search for meaning with music and talks – the keynote talk by Revd Prof. David Wilkinson, astrophysicist and theologian, you may have heard of him on ‘Thought for the day’.
